Thank you for visiting the Lace Hill Sports & Community Centre webpage. If you are looking for a local venue to hire, or want to start a new activity, organise a fundraising event or thinking of volunteering, why not get in touch and speak to the coordinator about hiring the centre.
Lace Hill Sports & Community Centre is a welcoming facility situated on the Lace Hill estate, owned, and operated by Buckingham Town Council. There are two main rooms, a sports hall, and a committee room, that offer a range of activities from sports to exercise and private functions.
The Centre aims to provide a well maintained, accessible community resource for the benefit of Buckingham residents, contributing to community growth, development, and the economic well-being of the local area. What’s more we have lots of weekly activities and classes suitable for all ages, ranging from, baby & toddler classes, badminton, dance, karate, yoga, judo, football and more. View the timetable below for the full list.
A member of staff may not always be available on site but the office is usually manned between 9 AM and 3 PM Monday to Friday so please contact us if you wish to enquire or would like to arrange a visit. There is free onsite parking and four designated blue badge spaces.
The Centre is all on one level and fully accessible. There is a ramp/slope leading from the car park to the main entrance, but this is slight. Push button automatic front doors which open out towards you are in operation. Inside there is an accessible toilet, a wide corridor making it wheelchair and mobility scooter friendly. The doors leading into the hall and committee room are all double, push to open doors.
