Spring Events 2024

Come along to Buckingham’s Spring Green Fair on Sunday 28th April 2024 from 10am until 2pm located at the Cattlepens in Buckingham town centre for a fun and informative event showcasing fantastic local sustainable businesses, arts and crafts activities, live music, and advice on how we can reduce both our environmental impact and our heating bills.

Join children from local primary schools at Bourton Meadow Academy from 10:30am on Wednesday 1st May 2024, to celebrate May Day. The children will be doing traditional country dancing and maypole dancing. Please note that visitors will need to sign in upon arrival.

Buckingham Live, formerly known as Music in the Market, is expanding this year and becoming a brand new three-day festival from Friday 24th May – Sunday 26th May 2024! The festival will take place in numerous locations including the town centre – outdoors and in local venues – as well as Buckingham Football Club.

This year’s line-up is:

• Acoustic night: Friday 24th May at The Grand Junction
• Buckingham Live introducing: Saturday 25th May in the Cattle Pens
• Rock night: Saturday 25th May at The Woolpack
• Buckingham Live: Sunday 26th May on the green at Buckingham Football Club from 1pm – 10pm

Buckingham Acoustic Club, now known as Buckingham Live Sessions, will be organising this event, with support from the Town Council. 

After yet another great event last summer, Celebrate Buckingham Day will be returning to the paddock in Bourton Park on Saturday 22nd June 2024 from 11am until 3pm. Expect to see local community, voluntary, and social enterprise groups along with fantastic food and drink vendors, live entertainment, inflatables, games, and lots of fun family activities!
