Bard of Buckingham Election

The Bard election will take place on Tuesday 5^th October in the Cote at the rear of the Woolpack pub from 7pm.

As well as the chance to choose the new Bard of Buckingham entertainment will include Brothers Homebrew and Stephen Ferneyhough and special guest MC: Terrie Howey!

Everyone is welcome to attend to hear the performers and take part in the live vote.  Each potential Bard will perform twice, before the final vote is taken.  The Bard may be any kind of spoken word performer – a songwriter, poet or comedian.

Potential Bards are encouraged to register beforehand, although it will be possible to just turn up on the night.  It is free to enter, although a collection will be made on the night for the Mayor’s charities.  If you are interested in taking part in the trial or would like more information please contact the Town Council at townclerk@buckingham-tc.gov.uk.
